Welcome to Rock Mechanics Lab.
The Rock Mechanics Laboratory at Hokkaido University focuses on various research areas, including the exploration of solidification and self-healing in beach rocks, conducting experimental analysis on rock fracture and deformation, and developing numerical models for rock fracture simulation. Our goals are to enhance the safety of rock structures such as slopes, mines, and radioactive waste disposal sites in deep underground masses, and to efficiently address rock engineering problems.
